Inaugural Bloody Mary Festival is Coming Up, September 19, 2015! Get Your Taste Buds Ready!

bloody mary bannerLook no further for things to do in Destin, FL! The Market Shops, located at the entrance to Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, will host the inaugural Bloody Mary Festival benefiting Sinfonia Gulf Coast on Saturday, September 19, 2015, from 12:00pm-3:00pm.

Attendees will enjoy unlimited tastes of 16 of the Emerald Coast’s most creative and innovative Bloody Marys made with Cathead Vodka and served by the finest restaurants and bars on the panhandle.

  • Competing restaurants include Bijoux Restaurant & Spirits, Brotula’s Seafood House & Steamer, Bud & Alley’s, DIG eatery, Great Southern CafĂ©, Island Wing Company, Louis Louis, NOLA Boiling Company, Signature Catering of 30A, Stinky’s Fish Camp, Sunset Bay CafĂ©, The Beach House, The Bowery on Thirty-A, The Craft Bar and The Perfect Pig. Each ticket will include one vote for the People’s Choice Award for “Best Bloody Mary” in South Walton.

The event will also feature live music by local band Sound Advice, and food for purchase by area restaurants including Bijoux Restaurant & Spirits, DIG eatery and Island Wing Company. Guests will also enjoy a mimosa bar by Coastal Wine and Spirits and frosty brews by Grayton Beer Company. Facetime Photobooth will provide a dynamic photobooth complete with fun props and accessories to commemorate the event. For the avid Tiger fans that wish to attend, Bijoux’s bar area will be open for viewing the LSU and Auburn football game during the event. Attendees will have a chance to win a $500 voucher towards a flight aboard Southern Airways Express.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Sinfonia Gulf Coast. Sinfonia Gulf Coast is committed to entertaining, educating and inspiring the community through imaginative and innovative musical programming. Sinfonia’s goal is to enrich and expand the traditional orchestral experience through unique artistic disciplines and collaborations, enhancing Northwest Florida’s cultural vitality.

  • Guests must be 21 years of age or older. Admission to the event is $25 per person if purchased in advance and $35 on the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased at www.TheMarketShops.com.
