HarborWalk Village’s Red, White and Blue Celebration
If you’re looking for fun things to do in Destin, Celebrate the end of the summer season with the final 2016 show of the Red, White and Blue Celebration at HarborWalk Village! Each Thursday during summer, HarborWalk Village celebrates an American hero at the Red, White and Blue Celebration show, and this Thursday is the big season finale! On Thursday, September 1st, head down to the beautiful Destin Harbor to kick-off Labor Day weekend with this patriotic show.
Let the Red, White and Blue celebration take you back in time as the North American T-6 Texan stunt team takes to the sky for an air show featuring WWII fighter planes. Watch as these classic planes used by the military during WWII soar though the air with amazing precision. Adding to the ambiance and celebration of the era, popular music from the 40s and 50s will be performed live by The Village Belles on the mainstage. As the charming trio performs, a choreographed fireworks show will light up the night sky over the Destin Harbor. After the firework show, things heat up on stage with a live firespinning show by Just Add Fire.
This is the final Red, White and Blue Celebration for 2016, but the festivities will continue this fall as HarborWalk Village gears up for College Football Saturdays, the Kitty Hawk Kite festival, and the highly-anticipated Destin Seafood Festival. There are also plenty of events going into the holidays with Pumpkinpalooza Party Weekend for Halloween, the Blues, Brews & BBQ Festival, and Santa at HarborWalk Village over Christmas!
With beautiful weather and a lot of fun things to do in Destin year-round, it’s a great place to visit anytime!
