What to Pack For the Beach
Here are some of our favorite things to take to the beach:
___ directions/map
___ water - it's very easy to get dehydrated in the sun
___ snacks - if allowed
___ cooler - again, if allowed
___ sunscreen - make sure to get a high enough SPF and follow the directions on the label
___ lip balm
___ sunglasses
___ sun hat - especially for little ones who burn easily
___ first aid kit
___ water shoes or flip flops
___ beach umbrella
___ chairs
___ blanket
___ sand and water toys - buckets, shovels, sifters, nets, sand molds, etc.
___ goggles or masks
___ frisbees and beach balls
___ life jackets - make sure you discuss water safety with the kids
___ towels - several per person is nice so you can have a clean one for changing
___ camera - waterproof disposable cameras are a nice alternative to sand in your digital
___ a change of clothes and footwear for the ride home
___ plastic bags for wet suits / towels
___ aloe or after sun lotion
