Two Happy Hour Specials in Destin That’ll Make You Smile

The Craft Bar

Whether you’ve just check in to your Destin vacation home or you’re a local, the number one thing on your radar is the best place to eat in Destin, at the best price.

Hands down, one of the best spots in Destin is Craft Bar—a gastropub with artisan-crafted cocktails.

Located next to Destin Commons, it’s a great place to grab a bite anytime. Happy Hour is especially attractive for those with an affinity for elevated cocktails because from 2-6 p.m., everything on the Happy Hour menu is $5.

If you’re bold enough, try Craft Bar’s Nashville hot chicken.  Take it from us though, this dish is for serious spice lovers only. Cool your taste buds with a pepino del benicio, a cocktail comprised of English cucumber, house citrus, house simple syrup, and Tito’s handmade vodka.

The Happy Hour menu also features ham fritters, pulled pork quesadillas, and soup of the day. Other cocktails include le Michel (gin, suze, St. Germain, with house simple and citrus) and scorched Earth (gin, English cucumber, house simple and citrus in a rosemary smoked coupe). They also rotate draft beers and wines on the Happy Hour menu.

On the West end of Destin in Grand Boulevard, you’ll find another Happy Hour at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse.

Fleming’s offers two happy hours. From 5-7 p.m., they serve five appetizers, cocktails, and wines from $6 until 7 p.m. (a 5-6-7 deal, so to speak). It’s followed by the 8-9-10 Happy Hour, which offers eight small plates and a nine ounce pour until 10 nightly.

Happy Hour specials are only available at the bar, but the menu is plentiful. The 5-6-7 menu includes roasted Portobello mushroom ravioli, house made burrata, sweet chile calamari, tenderloin carpaccio, and filet mignon flatbread.

The 8-9-10 menu features sliced filet mignon, boneless braised short ribs, seared ahi tuna, shrimp and sea scallops, New Zealand lamb chops, lobster tempura, the prime burger, and the prime rib dip.

Between Craft Bar and Fleming’s, your afternoons in Destin just got a whole lot happier.
